Privacy Policy

We take your family's privacy seriously. This policy explains how ElevenSpark uses information to provide and protect your learning account.

Who we are

ElevenSpark is a UK sole-trader educational business. The trader's legal identity and business contact details must be shown on the published website before customers can register.

Information we use

We process parent or guardian contact and login information; a learner nickname and profile; lesson answers, assessment results and progress; purchase and access records; technical security logs; and messages sent to our support team. Payment-card details are handled by our payment provider rather than stored in our course database.

How we use your information

We use account and purchase information to provide our service and fulfil our contract with you; learning activity to deliver lessons and tailored revision; security information to protect accounts and prevent misuse; and transaction records to comply with legal obligations. We use support messages to respond to enquiries. Where we rely on legitimate interests or consent, we explain the relevant basis in our full processing information.

Children and parents

Parents or guardians manage the purchase and account. We minimise identifying information about children and use learner data to support their education rather than for behavioural advertising. Children should not provide their full names or contact information in support messages.

Sharing and international transfers

We use selected providers for hosting, authentication, payment processing and customer support. We only share information needed for these functions. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we apply an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism.

Retention

We retain account and learning records while needed to provide the purchased service and for a limited period afterwards, subject to deletion requests and legal obligations. Purchase records may need longer retention for tax and accounting purposes. The specific retention schedule is available through our privacy contact.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information and have other rights under UK data protection law, subject to exceptions. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
